Have been seeing Sally since March 2014. Sally is very informative
and answers any queries and gives good advice when helping you decide what you require.
Is very honest with her suggestions in order to give you the very best service
she can. Extremely professional and friendly. Top quality products used also.
Results are subtle but amazing. Thanks to Sally for a wonderful service,
I always joke with Sally that no matter where I was in the
world I’d be willing to fly across oceans and continents to let her work her
magic, because the reality is, she’s an artist. Every treatment she’s done for
me has been to enhance me naturally, to maintain who I am and never to distort,
or profit from anything unnecessary. I trust her and her advice 100%
Sally is an amazing practitioner and is very transparent and
honest about all her treatments. She makes you feel confident and safe about
each procedure and her follow up care is outstanding. I can’t recommend her
enough.
During your consultation, I will first make sure you feel comfortable and at ease with me. I will find out what has brought you in, how you feel about yourself, what you like and what you don’t like. I will ask what you perceive as being your end goals and why. I will offer a full facial assessment and explain what happens during the ageing process to the muscles, skin and supporting structures. Once you have this knowledge, we will use that to assess how this applies to your own face. We will discuss what the desired proportions of the face are and again compare this to your own. This will all collate in being able to discuss where any personal concerns originate from and how we might best address them. Often the treatment plan we decide on might not actually be the one you come in with, but it will absolutely be the best course of action to gain the best results!
Through the consultation process and assessment, together we will decide on a potential plan moving forward. This can often involve phased appointments, both to make the process as comfortable as possible physically and psychologically as well as from a cost point of view.
Absolutely not! Feeling comfortable with the process is what matters the most.
There always will be the potential of downtime to some extent with this type of treatment. It is important to schedule appointments where firstly you don’t wear make up after, secondly where you feel comfortable tolerate a little inflammation and possibly the risk of bruising the next day. In saying that, downtime is minimal and short lived.
The muscle relaxation achieved by reducing wrinkles is approximately 3/4 months, with a smoother skin lasting up to 6 months. Dermal fillers can last anywhere from 6/9 months up to a few years post treatment. Dermal fillers will need topped up within that time to maintain results.
It very much depends on your own pain threshold, some tolerate it really easily and would tell you it’s just a little discomfort, while others might find it a bit sore if they’re particularly nervous about needles. I’m very gentle though and will always make sure you’re okay with the treatment.
After toxin injections for wrinkles, side effects are minimal. You might have a little bump where the fluid has been injected, and a little pinkness where the needles have pierced the skin. This will settle in about half an hour. Bruising is always a possibility with injections. Dermal fillers are similar but may lead to feelings of tenderness and stiffness for a few days after treatment. Risks are further discussed during the consultation.
Ideally I’d ask you to come in with no make up on, not having had coffee in particular, and not be flustered or flushed. If we can keep the vascularity of the skin low, it will help reduce the risk of bruising during treatment. After treatment, you will need to keep your skin clean for the rest of the day, avoid touching the area & avoid becoming too hot either with saunas for example, or exercise.
Prices will vary depending on how many areas are being treated for softening wrinkles with toxin. And with regards to dermal fillers, prices are based on how many syringes are used. This is dependent on the age of the person, the facial structure and volume loss. A price guide is always provided during the consultation once we know an idea of what’s we’re looking to achieve.
Absolutely! I strive to always have my patients looking their best but with treatment being undetectable. A full face approach is best to achieve this so small amounts of products are used over multiple areas. There are a lot of variables with this type of treatment, a person can look ‘unnatural’ with 2mls of a certain product slightly misplaced than their friend who might have 12mls of a suitable product placed more appropriately.
Consent forms and aftercare are emailed out prior to attending the clinic, this is to allow you to reference back to after your consultation and treatment. I will make sure you are aware how to look after the areas once you leave the clinic, and make sure you feel comfortable in the knowledge that I am always available post treatment for any questions or concerns that you experience. I will not offer dermal fillers prior to either you or myself going away within a 48 hour period after treatment to make sure that any potential complications can be managed.
Your feedback is very important to us.
